Can I turn my hobbies into a profession?

I filmed my first comedy special last weekend at the Den Theatre, which pushed me to learn all aspects of creating a show. This experience taught me that I can’t just be a good comic but also a good producer. My hobby isn’t just being a comedian; it also involves producing content and managing my brand as a comic. While working on this project, I assembled and led a team to help me film, photograph, and support the brand I’ve built. That being said, people were on board, and we sold out the show. This project is a prime example of people believing in and supporting my work. This is the type of work I want to continue doing after I graduate, so turning my hobby into a profession may not have a direct path, but I know that if I keep pushing myself, I’ll find myself at my destination.
